I am reading The Witch Of Blackbird Pond. It is by Elizabeth George Speare. It is about a girl named Kit Tyler who moves from the Bahamas to America when her Grandfather died. There are many parts in the little section that I read. That is all so far.
That sounds very interesting.
Oh, I read that book too and it was a good book!!
A couple weeks ago I read a book called The Truth About Horses, Friends, and my Life as a Coward. The book was great because I could relate to it by me owning horses. It’s about how a girl, Melissa, finds that horses are a girl’s best friend! I love that book and best of all the author, Sarah P. Gibson is from Maine herself!
That book sounds good, and you probably love it ’cause you love horses.
That sounds good:-p
That sounds good:-D
I read that book and I loved it too.
I have been reading Frightful’s Mountain. It’s the third book in the series of My Side Of The Mountain and On The Far Side Of The Mountain. Sam’s peregrine falcon, Frightful, got confiscated In the last book and then was set free. So she now has a mate but doesn’t know how to hunt anything except pheasant and rabbit. But now she wants to find Sam again. She has to find that one mountain that has that one tree with Sam. That’s all I’ve read so far but it’s really good!
Wow, that sounds very interesting! Maybe I will read that series.
That sounds like a really good book!:):):):):):)
I’m reading the book called THE CAY. So far (I’m not done yet) it’s been a pretty good book. What really drew me in was on the back it said that the kid becomes blind. And from then on I’ve just been hooked on it. Hope more people read this book because it is a good book.
I’ve also read that book it gets so good toward the end. (:
I love that book, but it’s sad how Timothy dies.
I read a segment of Magic Thief. It’s the story of a pick pocket boy that steals an orb from a wizard by accident. He is almost killed by it when the wizard asked to come to eat with him at the restaurant. The wizard asked him to be his apprentice and they are on a journey to stop this other evil wizard.
I read Cicada Summer. It is about a girl who never talks and has a secret. This new girl comes into her town and is really mean and her father is a criminal. She runs away, and the first girl has to find her.
The book that I am reading is CHAINS. It’s pretty good so far. The book was written by Laurie Halse Anderson. It is about a girl and her little sister. They are both slaves, and the girl thinks that she can talk to ghosts. Ever since her mother died, she wants to see her ghost and talk to her mom. When she realizes that she can’t, she starts to cry. Then she finds out that she and her little sister are being sold to two different people, and that’s where I am now.
I read Swindle. Kids find a $1,000,000 baseball card, get it taken away from them, steal it back, get it taken again, then get away with it!
I love that book! Any one who reads it is a genuis!! :0
I read a Maine Student Book Award book. I thought that all of the books are long books but this is a short one! It’s called A River of Words. It’s a poetry book! In it a boy named Willie is always busy but when he goes to his English class he doesn’t feel rushed any more. When he is older he is a family doctor and still writes poems.
I am reading “Peeled” by Joan Bauer. The book is really good so far! It is about this girl who is her school’s own newspaper reporter. She and her friends all have a job, either being the photographer or being on watch for interesting news. It starts out at the Apple Blossom Festival, where the Apple Blossom Queen will be crowned. The next morning, the town’s “haunted” house, which people believed was the home of a ghost, had a message on the door saying, “You didn’t think it was safe, did you?” The girl and her friends are now on the run trying to figure out what is up with this house. If you want a mystery this book is for you. You’ll have to wait for me to be done with it, but since it is so good I shall be done in no time!
